In recent times, we have many options to pursue a career in engineering. If you

look at society, you will find many engineers wandering around. The fact is, not

everyone can meet the standards required to be an engineer. Most end up

working for multinational companies with fixed routines, and very few know

what they are truly working for.

The script we receive on our first day often continues for thousands of days, and those individuals are not the engineers we aspire to be. The smell of burntoil, the whirring noise of mechanical equipment, and hands covered in grease—this is what it takes to be an engineer. Engineers are not made in universities;they evolve through practice and experience. When it comes to motorsports, we must build racing cars, and we don’t geteverything from textbooks. It takes many failures to build a single racing car. When a team of engineers starts to build the car, they only know the conceptsand background of automobiles. Through practice and numerous iterations, we arrive at a working model. It maynot be perfect, and it may never be, because that’s how technologicalevolution occurs. Back in the 18th century, while the world was focused onsewing machines, some engineers developed the steam engine, and the rest ishistory.”ENGINEERING BEYOND THE ROUTINE : CRAFTING THE FUTURE OF MOTORSPORTS”
